Account Switcher for Reddit does not collect, transmit or sell any personal data.

All account information you save (usernames, emails, passwords and Reddit login sessions) is stored only in your browser's local extension storage on your own device. It is never sent to the developer or any third party.

The extension makes one kind of network request: to https://www.reddit.com/api/me.json, to check which Reddit account is currently signed in. This request goes only to Reddit.

Saved passwords are used only to fill in Reddit's own login form, in a tab the extension opens itself, and only when you ask it to. They are never submitted automatically.

Backups you export are encrypted with a passphrase you choose and saved only where you save them.

Removing the extension or using "Delete all saved accounts" in Settings permanently deletes all stored data.
