About this extension
This extension locally modifies SIS and WebApps URLs in the address bar when the session ID is missing or no longer works. The session remains in the address bar, which is something the vast majority of other websites do not do.
It tries to remember the session ID from the most recent page on which it detected an active sign-in. If you load a URL without a session ID*, it adds one. If the URL contains a different session ID, it replaces it only after SIS or WebApps itself shows that it no longer works. It preserves the parts of the address unrelated to your session. This makes it easier to continue something you started even the day before.
(*)The session ID appears in the URL:
- in SIS, in the part after '?', as 'id=<session ID>'
- in WebApps, between slashes, as 'UKSESSION<session ID>'
On CAS, it also fixes the one-time-code field so the browser or password manager recognizes it as an OTP field rather than a password. The extension does not read, generate, or fill the code itself.
It runs only on Charles University SIS, WebApps, and CAS pages. The extension does nothing that a user could not do manually with a keyboard and mouse. It does not bypass authentication or check session validity in the background. It relies only on what the loaded page shows. It includes no telemetry.
