About this extension
Site Notes lets you jot quick reminders for each website directly from the toolbar. Notes are stored locally on your device with no accounts or servers. A badge on the toolbar icon can indicate when the current page already has a saved note and you can turn that badge on or off in Options. You can also grab your current text selection into a note with one click and export or import your notes as a simple JSON file for backup or migration.
Everything runs locally. The extension does not load remote code or contact external services. Scripts are kept in separate files to comply with AMO’s no-inline-script rules, and a strict content security policy is applied. The goal is a small, predictable tool that does one job well: help you remember what matters on each site.
