Site Tracker by Mahdi Rashidi

See where your time really goes on the web, privately.

Site Tracker replaces your new tab page with a dashboard that shows which sites you visit and how long you spend on them. Everything is calculated and stored on your own device.

What you get
- Time and visit tracking per site, with idle detection
- Analytics, heatmap, weekly report and productivity score
- Categories for your sites (social, work, news and more), fully editable
- Goals and a "personality" summary of your browsing habits
- Focus mode that blocks distracting sites during a session
- Speed dial of your most visited sites
- Import from your browser history, export and import your data
- Dark and light themes, and 8 languages (English, Persian, Arabic, Turkish, Russian, German, Spanish, Chinese)

Private by design
- Your browsing data is stored only in this browser and is never uploaded
- No account, no analytics, no ads
- Old data is cleaned up automatically
- Site icons are loaded from Google's favicon service, which means the domain of a site you track is sent to Google to fetch its icon

Permissions
- tabs, idle, alarms: measure active time on a site
- history: optional import of your existing history
- declarativeNetRequest and optional access to all sites: focus-mode blocking, only if you grant it
- notifications: focus session reminders

Site Tracker is free. If it's useful to you, you can support its development from the link inside the popup.
