Version 3.2
Released Sep 9, 2025 - 254.17 KBWorks with firefox 58.0 and laterWhat’s new in Version 3.2
🔹 Last-Match Activity Overlay
- See on the pitch who trained or played—and how much—last match.- Position tiles colorized: lineup tiles now inherit the color of the left-edge indicator on each player card (training / last-match) as a subtle full-tile overlay.
- Visual cues for partial participation: when that indicator means half training or played fewer than full match minutes, the tile shows a diagonal hatch; otherwise it’s a soft solid fill.
- Drag & drop: coloring updates live while dragging.

SkillValue v2.7 brings another big step toward making scouting and transfer work both sharper and easier to read.
🔹 Cleaner “Transfer Search” layout
Visual-only overhaul: sections are grouped into neat cards, no content changes — just easier on the eyes.

Show only players where the Transfer Compare average is higher than the asking price. Works seamlessly alongside all other filters (sub-levels, Ability/Potential, etc.).
🔹 On-card mini badge
Each player card now gets a compact badge showing Avg / Ask / Δ (difference = Transfer Compare – Asking Price). Color cues make underpriced players pop at a glance.
🔹 How to use
Open the filter panel, tick Undervalued, then hit Apply. The mini badge appears on qualifying cards with Avg / Ask / Δ.
🔹 Optional display upgrades (Popup → Settings)
– Compact player panel: refines layout into cards & clearer tables, tightens spacing, and polishes form/stamina and wage rows.

Version 2.5
Released Aug 24, 2025 - 100.03 KBWorks with firefox 58.0 and laterSkillValue v2.5 – LineUp Tool v1.0
I'm excited to introduce a brand-new feature that takes SkillValue one step closer to being your all-in-one assistant: the LineUp Tool.
No more endless guesswork, spreadsheets, or arguing with yourself at 2 a.m. about whether to play 3-5-2 or 4-4-2. This tool does the heavy lifting for you.
Important: for the tool to work properly, the players in the list on the right side of your screen must be in expanded mode. Otherwise, the magic won’t happen.
It grabs your players’ skills – including loyalty, experience, and form – and crunches them into an individual rating for each player. Then it adds them all up, runs a few numbers, and suggests the best formation you can actually field.
With the buttons you can play around with different setups and instantly see what ratings the tool spits out.
⚠️ Caveats: it doesn’t account for sub-levels of skills, and at this stage it only calculates based on normal play in each position – so no attacking/defensive orders are considered.
The whole idea is simply to show you the top pick for each formation, as a base you can then tweak with your own tactical genius.Source code released under MIT License
Version 2.4
Released Aug 10, 2025 - 758.12 KBWorks with firefox 58.0 and laterDisplays the sub-level of the player's highest main skill based on their wage in Hattrick online football manager game.
What does the calculator actually measure?
🔹 It grabs the player’s current wage and, using the secret recipe of the “unwritten rules,” calculates the sublevel of the highest main skill.
🔹 Main skills = anything except set pieces and passing.
🔹 The closer the player is to (or past) their birthday, the more accurate the result will be.
Where can it slip up?
🔹 If two skills are at the same level, the result isn’t reliable.
🔹 It might be off by ± 1 or 2 training from reality—it’s not perfect, but it’s doing its best!
What’s New in Version 2.4
🔹Added a SkillValue button on your team’s player page.
🔹Added an Ability & Potential filter (uses FoxTrick HTMS data if enabled). Even if you’re not skill-trading, you can now search the market for players with specific HTMS points. The filter is useful not only for skill traders but also for regular managers, as well as national team coaches and scouts.
What’s New in Version 2.3
🔹 Per-Player Buttons in Transfer Lists
Every player entry in the transfer list will now have its own SkillValue button. Clicking it will immediately open an overlay showing that player’s calculated sub-level.
🔹 Custom Sub-Level Filter
This is an incredibly powerful feature that no other calculator has offered so far!
Above your transfer list you’ll find a new filter panel with “Min” and “Max” fields. Enter any sub-level range you like (for example, 8.5–9.2) and click Apply. Only players whose SkillValue sub-level falls within that range will remain visible; everyone else is temporarily hidden until you reset or adjust the filter.

Version 1.6
Released Jul 15, 2025 - 72.19 KBWorks with firefox 58.0 and later- The popup now clearly states the sublevel calculation is for age XX years and 00 days;
- The popup window is now draggable – move it around as you please, no more UI tyranny;
- Sublevel calculation just got awesome – it even figures out which is the primary and which is the secondary skill when both levels are identical... and gives you the sublevel of the primary one!
However, keep in mind: if the secondary skill has a very high sublevel, the result can get slightly skewed – deviations of around ±0.20–0.30 are possible in the main skill's sublevel.Source code released under MIT License
