Privacy policy for skool Harbor: Skool Downloader
skool Harbor: Skool Downloader by Leksautomate
Last updated: 2026-08-09
skool Harbor ("the extension") helps you find and download videos from Skool,
Vimeo, Loom, and Wistia pages you visit, and save them as MP4 files.
Email address, for licensing only. To use the extension beyond the free
trial, you register an email address through ExtensionPay
(https://extensionpay.com), a third-party licensing service. Your email and
your trial/paid status are sent to and stored by ExtensionPay so the extension
can check whether you're entitled to unlimited downloads. skool Harbor does
not operate its own account system or server — ExtensionPay handles this on
our behalf. See ExtensionPay's own privacy policy for how they handle this
data: https://extensionpay.com/privacy.
Payment itself (card details, billing) is handled entirely by ExtensionPay's
hosted checkout page (backed by Stripe) — the extension never sees or
transmits your payment details.
- It does not collect or transmit your browsing history, the videos you
watch, or any page content to skool Harbor's developer or any analytics
service. - It does not use tracking pixels, analytics SDKs, or third-party ad
networks. - It does not sell or share your data with anyone other than ExtensionPay,
for the sole purpose described above.
All video detection (finding video URLs on pages you visit) and downloading
(fetching video segments and combining them into an MP4) happens locally in
your browser. Video files are fetched directly from the original hosting
service (Skool's video CDN, Vimeo, Loom, or Wistia) and saved to your
computer using Firefox's own downloads feature. None of this data passes
through skool Harbor's developer or any server we control.
The extension stores a small amount of data locally in your browser
(
storage.local), such as the list of videos detected on your currenttab, your download count, and your install date. This data stays on your
device and is not transmitted anywhere.
The extension requests broad host permissions (matching Skool, Vimeo, Loom,
Wistia, YouTube, and their video CDNs) so it can detect and download video
content on those sites, and
webRequest/declarativeNetRequestWithHostAccessto identify video manifest URLs and correct request headers required by
Skool's video CDN. These permissions are used only for the detection/download
functionality described above.
