About this extension
Sleeper connects AI agents to the Firefox browser you already use. Through its companion local daemon, agents can navigate tabs, read page content, click controls, fill forms, take screenshots, and extract structured data using the command-line interface or Model Context Protocol (MCP).
Setup requires the free, open-source Sleeper daemon and CLI on your computer. Linux and macOS are supported; Windows is best-effort. Install the companion software from https://github.com/shy-tangerine/sleeper and follow the setup guide. The extension alone does not run an AI model or provide an automation service.
Sleeper works with your existing browser session, so you do not need to copy website credentials into agent configuration. Only connect agents you trust: commands can interact with signed-in pages, and returned content or screenshots can include private information. Structured results use best-effort secret masking; screenshot pixels are not masked.
The developer operates no analytics, advertising, account service, or cloud relay. The daemon listens on loopback by default. Android connections through Tailscale are experimental; see the Android setup guide for requirements and current limitations.
