Video Reports
When you submit a report flagging a YouTube video as AI-generated, partially AI-generated, or not AI-generated, we store:

The YouTube video ID (e.g. "dQw4w9WgXcQ")
Your flag classification (ai, part-ai, or not-ai)
A timestamp of when the report was submitted
Reports are submitted anonymously. We do not associate reports with any user account, IP address, or device identifier.

Local Preferences
The extension stores your filtering preferences (e.g. whether to hide AI-generated videos) locally in your browser using the browser's built-in storage API. This data never leaves your device.

Data We Do Not Collect
Personal information (name, email, etc.)
Browsing history or watch history
IP addresses or device identifiers
YouTube account information
Cookies or tracking pixels
How We Use Your Data
Video report data is aggregated to calculate community consensus on whether a video contains AI-generated content. These aggregated counts are displayed to other users of the extension to help them make informed viewing decisions.

Data Storage & Security
Report data is stored on secured cloud infrastructure. Since reports are anonymous and contain only video IDs and flag types, the data carries minimal privacy risk.

Third-Party Services
The extension communicates only with our backend API to submit and retrieve video reports. We do not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.
