Smart Terms cloud app runs on the Heroku cloud platform. Heroku’s physical infrastructure is hosted and managed within Amazon’s secure data centers and uses the Amazon Web Service (AWS) technology.

The "Smart Terms" app requires access to the content of pages of Confluence cloud instance where the Smart Terms for Confluence add-on is used. For this reason, this content is transported from the Atlassian Cloud servers to the Smart Terms for Confluence servers over a secure HTTPS connection. The content is not stored, logged or used for any other purpose than what this add-on requires. Neither employees of TechUp or any other party is able to view the content of your Confluence pages.
