didn't work for me either, in the writing website that I use and needed.

Doesn't work all the time, unfortunately. For example, I‘ll get smart quotes at the beginning of a quotation, but dumb quotes at the end. Not sure why.

Works as advertised… but only on GitHub so far, and not on Twitter and Reddit, for instance
