Social Archiver saves social media posts and web pages with one click, straight from Firefox.

Supported platforms
X (Twitter), Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Threads, Reddit, YouTube, TikTok, Bluesky, Mastodon, Pinterest, Substack, Naver, and any web page (clip mode).

Features
- Archive: save a post with its text, images and metadata to your Social Archiver account, reachable from any device.
- Clip: clip any web page in Firefox's sidebar, edit the title and text, then save.
- Reader mode: read posts and articles in a clean view, including YouTube transcripts that follow the video.
- Local-first options: send a post to your Obsidian vault, download it as a Markdown bundle, or copy it, with no account needed.
- Import saved posts: bulk-import your saved Instagram posts, Reddit saved items and X bookmarks.
- Share links: each archive gets a shareable link by default; you can turn this off in settings.
- Offline queue: archives made while offline are sent when you are back online.
- Keyboard shortcuts and right-click menu: archive the current page or open reader mode without leaving it.

Privacy
- Content is sent only when you choose to archive or save a clip.
- No browsing history is collected.
- Usage diagnostics (event names and coarse states, never page URLs, titles or content) are sent only if you allow technical and interaction data when installing, and can be turned off in settings.
- Sign-in uses an email link or device pairing.

Archive only content you have permission to save.
