The extension talks only to SocialFaktory's own servers. Opening the popup loads your brands, their channels and the actors you can pick. When you press a button, it sends what that action needs: the brand you pick, the address of the page or link you act on, a draft you paste, the post text with the channel and time you pick, and what you fill in for a video (the product name, the line the actor says and the actor, or the length and shape). While a post or video is being made, it checks with our servers how it is going. Requests carry your sign-in (OAuth) tokens, which it renews when they expire, and technical ids such as a random key that stops a retried request from running twice.

The right-click item saves a link to your swipe file in your browser and sends nothing. The extension keeps your sign-in tokens, the brand you last picked, the post or video under way and your swipe file in browser extension storage. It never reads the content of a page, runs no scripts on the sites you visit, uses no analytics or tracking, and we never sell data from it.
