- API key: Stored locally in your browser's storage to authenticate requests. Never transmitted except to our API.

What we don't collect:
- Browsing history
- Personal information
- Analytics or tracking data
- Data from other tabs or websites

How data is used:
Reference text is processed solely to verify citations against source documents. We do not sell, share, or use your data for advertising.

Data retention:
Verification history is stored on your SourceVerify account. You can delete your account and data at any time at sourceverify.ai.
