Spiderpiggy Website Notes stores notes and settings in Firefox local extension storage on the user’s device. Saved data includes note text, an optional custom title, chosen note color, a website domain or page URL identifier, and display preferences (for example position, minimized state and automatic display settings). It does not collect, share or transmit this information to Spiderpiggy or any external server. There are no trackers, advertisements or analytics. Notes and settings are not synchronized by the extension. A JSON backup is created only when the user explicitly exports it and remains under the user’s control. The user can edit or delete notes in the extension, or remove the extension. Firefox may remove local extension data on uninstall. Browser permission to modify a website is only used to display the user’s own sticky note on that site. The extension does not read the text of web pages.
