About this extension
Squinty reads the fine print so you don't have to.

Open a privacy policy, terms of service page, credit card offer, or insurance policy and click Squinty. In about twenty seconds you get a letter grade from A to F, a plain language summary, and the parts worth worrying about, each quoted from the document.

What every review tells you
- A grade and a score out of 100
- Four straight answers: Do they take your personal info? Your photos and files? Do they sell or share it? Will it train their AI?
- What you're handing over: location, contacts, browsing, biometrics, and more, each marked collected, shared, or sold
- Red flags in the document's own words, including forced arbitration, auto renewal, and terms that change without notice. Click a quote to see it highlighted on the page.
- State rules shown separately, for the state you choose

Credit offers: APR, penalty rate, deferred interest, annual fee, and other fees, with their own grade.

Insurance: home, auto, and renters policies, declarations pages, and renewal notices. How your roof is paid, storm and hail deductibles, flood, wildfire, and earthquake coverage, what changed at renewal, limits, exclusions, and the claim deadline.

Where it works
- Any policy or terms page, or right click a policy link
- Sign up pages: Squinty finds the policies linked next to "I agree"
- "We're updating our terms" emails in Gmail, Outlook, and Yahoo
- PDFs, or up to 5 photos of a paper document

Privacy: Squinty installs with no access to websites. Nothing is sent until you click Review. Private documents, uploads, and emails are never kept. Reviews of public pages are saved so the next person gets them instantly.

Free: 3 reviews a week, resetting Monday. Reviews of popular policies already in the Squinty library are free and don't count.

Grades come from an AI review of the document's text and can miss context. Squinty is not legal or financial advice.
