Would be nice if it had some more features like loading all transactions for you automatically, and exporting to an ODS file with the cells formatted properly for currency (they import into LibreOffice Sheets formatted as text, and I had to take a few steps to convert, removing line breaks first as well (like when a market transaction was listed as Credit on a new line in the same cell).
Would also be fun if the spreadsheet had some totals auto-calculated for you, such as total spent overall, total for in-game purchases, total spent/earned on the market, total spent on hardware (steam deck, valve index, accessories), amount spent only on new games (excluding amount spent on hardware and in-game purchases and market transactions).
I pulled the csv into LibreOffice Sheets and made these totals myself, but had to edit the sheet first (as mentioned above), and had to delete all cells that said "Invalid format for variable Total". I also had to shift some cells to the right (I think this was just a Sheets import issue), like when I purchased DLC with multiple items and some items had quotes in the title, it sometimes listed those items in the Date column.
Overall it did save me the effort of trying to pull the webpage into a spreadsheet to get started though, so I appreciate the free tool.Developer response
posted 5 days agoHi! Thank you for your review. I wrote this extension for myself and to use ones, so under the hood it is a mess of JavaScript. But it is open source, so you can always contribute! I might add this features in future, but currently have a lot of study to do. - Rated 5 out of 5by Mupcake, 8 months ago
