Steam TL Privacy Policy

Steam TL converts supported Steam USD prices into approximate Turkish lira amounts within your browser.

Local storage
Your preferences, exchange-rate cache, and a limited cache of game-price results are stored locally in your browser.

Data transmitted
For automatic exchange rates, the extension sends the selected exchange-rate source to rox.steamtl.site. For game-price comparisons, it sends the Steam App ID of the game being viewed. This ID can identify the Steam game page you are visiting. Requests also include the extension’s public ID, which is the same for all installations and is not a personal user identifier.

The extension requests sale-calendar information from steamtl.site/api/calendar. It does not transmit full page contents, displayed price text, or Steam wallet balances.

Infrastructure and providers
Cloudflare processes network requests, including IP addresses and HTTP connection information. The service uses temporary security and rate-limit counters derived from IP addresses. Cloudflare may also process infrastructure logs under its own policies.

The service obtains price and exchange-rate information from Steam, IsThereAnyDeal, and the relevant exchange-rate providers.

Information not collected
The extension does not collect Steam passwords, session cookies, payment details, or contact information. It contains no advertising or usage analytics.

Your controls
You can disable game-price comparisons to stop Steam App ID requests, select manual exchange rates to stop automatic exchange-rate requests, and disable the calendar separately. Uninstalling the extension removes its locally stored data through the browser’s extension-removal process.
