- Rated 4 out of 5by Pegase38, 8 days agoWorks perfectly. it's just annoying that when the streams get turned off without me noticing and turning the recording off, the files doesn't get saved... but besides that it's really good.

2024年9月の体験談でした。(⌒∇⌒)ノ”” - Rated 5 out of 5by Greenmonster, 3 months agoThis extension does exactly what I wanted it to.
It detects a video that is streaming and then gives me the option to record it.
I have no idea why it doesn't work for so many people here who give it 1 star.
OK. It records in webdm format. But I just convert it to MP4 or whatever with VLC or some other 3rd party program.
Its easy peasy! I recommend! - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 18500821, 5 months ago

- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 16303845, 2 years agoI've tried this for a number of weeks with varying degrees of success. In some instances it'll capture the stream perfectly. In other instances, I've come to find that it only captured the first few seconds of a stream despite showing it's been recording the entire time.
Another thing is that unlike other stream recording apps, this one requires the volume on the stream you're recording to be on and the quality of the audio depends on how high (or low) you have the volume set on the stream that's being recorded. So if you record a live stream on a site and have the volume low, the play back on the file will have low audio too.
To get around this (and have sound on the stream being recorded....if it records) you have to enable audio on the stream being recorded and leave it at its highest setting and then go to your audio settings in system and mute the main audio. This will still record the audio from the stream, however you won't have any audio on your PC until you unmute it. Like I said other stream recorders I've used still picked up the audio even if the stream is muted or regardless or audio level on the stream. Not sure why this one can't do the same.
On that note, I will say (when working properly) this extension does record video streams pretty decently and without issue. Something Video DownloadHelper hasn't been able to do recently with chunked file MP2T - No Data Received error I've been getting on all live stream captures attempted with that extension and no help from forum support.
Definitely room for improvement on this extension and I hope the developers keep plugging away to make it the best it can be. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13038173, 2 years agoIt works as it should. Thank you to the developer(s)!
