Thanks for the report, and sorry it stopped at the TV. VIDAA TVs don't support Google Cast, so they're reached over DLNA, and VIDAA's DLNA player is very picky about formats, varying by model and firmware.

I'd like to look at your case. Could you open an issue at github with your TV model, whether the TV shows up in the device picker, what the TV displays when you cast, and the helper log (%TEMP%\streaming-lan-cast.log on Windows)? That log shows exactly where the handoff stops. Also worth checking that Content Sharing is enabled in the VIDAA settings, since some models ship with it off.
