About this extension
Read web content faster and easier with this open-source Rapid Serial Visual Presentation (RSVP) extension and its two reading modes:
Pause/resume by clicking on the stuttering text. Change your speed in the settings by clicking the gear icon.
Keep your eye focused on the red letters and let the words flash by. You'll quickly be reading faster than ever!

You can begin running Stutter in one of three ways:
When Stutter is running, you can use the following hotkeys for control:
You can reposition the Stutter interface on the screen by dragging the handle on the left hand side. Stutter will remember its position in the future.
Many other timing options and theming are available inside the full settings panel. Click on the gear icon on the left while Stutter is running to change these settings. Note: You must have allowed the storage permission in order to change these default settings.
Privacy Policy:
No data is collected. This add-on will work in offline-mode or on local content.
- Select text on any page, even offline and local content, right-click and Stutter it.
- If you want to read the full page content, take advantage of the one-click extension icon to parse the page into Stutter.

You can begin running Stutter in one of three ways:
- Click on the icon in the browser to start Stuttering the full page.
- Press Alt+R to trigger Stutter by hotkey.
- Select text you'd like to Stutter and then right-click and choose "Stutter Selection".
When Stutter is running, you can use the following hotkeys for control:
- Alt-R - Restart Stutter on the whole page
- Alt+P - Pause/Resume
- Alt+Left - Skip backwards
- Alt+Right - Skip forwards
- Alt+Up - Increase WPM by 50
- Alt+Down - Decrease WPM by 50
- Esc - Close Stutter
