- Rated 1 out of 5by Hyperduel, 7 years agoGuys you can rollback to the previous 2.1.1 version here which will enable your custom styles again...
Just remember to set Automatic Updates for Stylish to "Off' within the FF Addons page.

posted 7 years agoNote that if you updated to the previous version of Stylish (v2.1.1) which was released nearly two weeks ago, all your previous styles are saved, and you can easily access ALL of them (installed, edited and/or created). Just click on the “About this version” link at the top of the extension window. There you will be able to copy the CSS of any style that you had, and easily migrate it to the new version of Stylish. We apologize for the inconvenience and hope that after you migrate your styles you will enjoy the new version much more than the previous version. - Rated 1 out of 5by Santademon, 7 years agoThe new update deleted all my styles, and the stylish addon stopped working all together. Switching to Stylus. https://add0n.com/stylus.html

used to work perfectly fine and used it for many sites. now after this update:
it deleted ALL my styles,
WONT let me re download them because all the install buttons for styles redirect to here!! HAPPY NOW WITH YOUR 1 STAR?!
pressing the mini button in the menu bar only creates a white arrow underneath with nothing else.
even the options button in addons only brings up an unnamed empty tab!
CONSTANTLY tells me to install it, yet i have it on my menu bar.
THANKS A LOT!!Developer response

EDIT: PEOPLE, REVERT TO VERSION 2.1.1 THEN EXPORT YOUR FILES TO STYLUS. MUCH BETTER.
I feel grateful with the devs right now, thanks to this garbage update I'm heading into a better direction.Developer response

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13429546, 7 years agoIt's a pity that you decided to make such big changes without letting us decide if we want to write our own styles and keep the ones we already had, or if we prefer to pick one of the new ones. You totally changed how the extension works, therefore that's not an update, you should instead create a new extension when you make such big changes.
You just deleted all my styles without asking me first if I wanted to save them.
Shame on you, I'm uninstalling as many others.
PS: Newer versions of Firefox are not compatible with older versions of Stylish. Goodbye, Stylish. It was nice and everything but that's all.Developer response

It lost all my styles. The interface is hard to understand.
Get back the old interface!Developer response

As a workaround I have to use the userChrome.css file which is a annoying for multiple styles. (And the new design takes to much space.)
- Rated 1 out of 5by Admin, 7 years agoUnfortunately it does not work I've increased my craziness to Firefox
- Rated 1 out of 5by Legend, 7 years ago1、自动更新3.0.1以后,很多针对浏览器外观的样式(比如隐藏scroll bar,或者修改浏览器主题)都失效了,而且我修改的样式全部都没了,突然一下子之前的工作都白费了。
- Rated 1 out of 5by AbsoluteDark, 7 years agoNew update is trash. Has an ugly icon now. Doesn't allow for modifying the UI (xul) so no real point of using either.
- Rated 1 out of 5by smz, 7 years agoHow to ditch a fantastic add-on... 3.0.1 screwed up (again) my styles!
Did you guys took into consideration that there are people still using Firefox 52.4.0 ESR?
PLEASE DO SOMETHING! - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13428570, 7 years ago
- Rated 1 out of 5by ananda96, 7 years ago3.0.1 Addon is broken, Styles disappeared after update today.
button does not work, will lead to nonexisting help site or similar, failes...
something with database wrong.
perfect how to destroy a working addon.
switched back to old 2.1.1
does anybody test this before release? - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 9771824, 7 years ago
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 10823042, 7 years agoThe new version is buggy as hell. In Firefox for Android, I can't access my installed styles anymore from the Add-On tab and the new Stylish menu entry doesn't do anything at all. Every now and then Stylish seems to forget the installed styles (which were all gone after the update and had to be reinstalled in the first place). Even if it does remember the styles, they're only getting applied after the page has been drawn. Not good. What, exactly, is the 'up' in this so called update? For the time being I've reverted back to 2.1.1.
- Rated 1 out of 5by pulsar83, 7 years agoЗачем сломали расширение которое работало идеально?!!!
Как вернуть старую версию расширения?!! - Rated 1 out of 5by hm, 7 years agoUpdate was a disaster, should have known not to fix what wasn't broken. Pls give instructions for restoring old version from a backup profile. EDIT: Found the link for restoring my previous version (just above release notes towards the bottom left, in case anyone else needs to do the same) - thanks for keeping it available.
