   This extension is designed to run locally on your device and minimizes data collection to only what is necessary for functionality.
2. Data Collection
   We generally do not collect personal data. We do not track browsing history. Your activity remains local to your device.

Local Storage: Used locally for Preferences (theme, naming), Download History, and Usage Counters.
Verification: An anonymous identifier is transmitted to Supabase solely to verify Pro license status.
3. Cloud Sync (Optional)
If enabled, the extension interacts directly with Google Drive (drive.file scope) or Dropbox. Files are transferred directly between your browser and the provider. We do not proxy or store your files.

1. Permissions
   downloads/storage: To save files and settings.
   activeTab: To detect media on the current tab.
   Host Permissions: Limited to substack.com and license verification servers.
