Super Agent - Automatic cookie consent by Super Agent, Diogo Minhava

by Firefox user 17063207, 3 years agoI constantly encounter websites unsupported by the add-on, and it seems like the the report button doesn't work for me. I've reported several websites (more than a dozen) by selecting "Report Problem", "I still have cookie pop-ups", and I click send. But when I look in my super-agent options, it says "You haven't reported any websites yet."
Let me know if I'm actually doing something wrong, and I'll happily adjust this review and rating.
EDIT: I've corresponded a bit with the developer about this issue. They were very nice. It seems like my reports are most likely being received, even though I can't see them. And they've added support for all the sites that I've reported. I still can't see my reports, but I guess I can just submit them by email. I might give 4.5 stars if I could, but I think it's more fair to round up than down here.

- Rated 1 out of 5by biggus_ivanus, 7 days agocan confirm what another user mentioned - it basically makes youtube unusable, everything loads very slowly, nearly half a minute of waiting until the video plays when it normally takes about a second or less. any attempt to use the media controls, especially playing or pausing, are either completely unresponsive or take multiple seconds to register - again not an issue i used to have.
on top of all of this, the extension does not even do what it is meant to. it fails to detect the cookie pop-up even though the extension is enabled for the website.
this was incredibly frustrating to deal with because i (mistakenly) assumed the issue was coming from some other settings i changed in the about:config page. after resetting my profile and loading in a configured one with most of my settings, i soon figured out that the issue was super agent.
at the current state, I cannot recommend it at all, at least for firefox 140.0b9.Developer response
posted 5 days agoHi Biggus, we are having trouble replicate this. I am a firefox user myself. Version 139.0.4 , and youtube works absolutely fine. Could you email me at hello@super-agent.com? Thanks! - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 14790382, 17 days agoNot perfect yet, but on a good path and already helpful.
- Rated 1 out of 5by kon, 21 days agoDoesn't work on basic websites like Bing. Most likely this is malware as the source code doesn't seem to be available anywhere.
- Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 15328935, a month agoThe extension causes YouTube Watch Later and other Notifications to load painfully slowly.
- Rated 3 out of 5by KevK, a month agook, but still many sites where cookie popups are displayed, at least you can see in the dashboard that it does work on some sites and saves you some time and nerves

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 18286440, 6 months agoIt works beautifully. Sometimes could take a second or two for consent forms to go away but not a biggie. Thank you devs for a great extension and caring for our privacy!

- Rated 3 out of 5by Lau, 7 months agoI think it was doing something? I probably forgot because once the cookie popups are reduced you stop thinking about them as much in the first place. BUT sadly there is currently a conflict with the duckduckgo search engine. So I am sadly going to have to disable this one for the time being. I'll update the review once it is solved and I have remembered again how much I hate cookie popups.

Francisco - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 13148966, 7 months agoI has been great, but there's currently a conflict with DuckDuckGo. I either have to find a new search engine, or uninstall this extension until the conflict is cleared up. :(
Update: Fix is working perfectly, thank you Francisco.Developer response

Francisco - Rated 5 out of 5by Jack, 8 months agoI'd like a 2~5 second time lag for the banner to load. Sometimes breaks sites if clcik to soon. May I donate a few coffes?
