Symbols Icons for GitHub, GitLab and more by Jahir Fiquitiva

Replaces the file and folder icons on code hosting sites with Symbols, the VS Code icon theme by Miguel Solorio. The same icons in the editor and in the browser, so file types, config files and project scaffolding are recognisable at a glance.

Icons will appear in file listings, pull request diffs and search results, and follow the page as you navigate.

Supports GitHub, GitLab and Bitbucket, along with several other hosts listed on the project page.

Options:
- Turn it on or off for all sites from the toolbar popup
- Pick the icon size that fits your reading distance

It asks for two permissions: storage, to keep your settings, and activeTab, so the popup can tell which site you are on. Nothing is collected or tracked and nothing leaves your browser.

Self-hosted instances are not supported. That requires access to every domain you visit, which is a far larger permission prompt than this extension needs.
