About this extension
This add-on lets you quickly mark important passages while you browse. The first time you click the popup it enables the highlighter for the current tab without requesting access to every site. After that, select any text and choose “Highlight selection” from the context menu to wrap it in a subtle mark that stands out. You can pick your preferred color from the Options page, and the choice is saved for future use.

Because it injects code only after a user action, it doesn’t ask for broad host permissions. Scripts are packaged locally, there are no inline scripts, and no remote code is executed. The design aims to be small, respectful, and practical for everyday reading and research.
