About this extension
Tab Interceptor asks for your approval before any link can open a new tab — perfect for blocking unwanted ad tabs on shared or TV devices.
When a page tries to open a new tab (target=_blank links, window.open, long-press "Open in new tab"), the new tab is closed mid-flight and a confirmation dialog appears: Yes (open once), Always allow (whitelist the domain), No (block once), Always block (blacklist the domain).
Features: whitelist & blacklist manager with JSON export/import on the Options page (works on Firefox for Android, which has no toolbar popup), pre-seeded ad-domain blacklist, TV-friendly large buttons with safe default focus on No for remote/D-pad navigation. No data collection — all lists stay in local browser storage.
