Privacy Policy — Tab Workspace
Tab Workspace does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data.
All data you create is stored locally on your device in Firefox/browser extension storage.
When you use Tab Workspace, the following data is saved locally in your browser extension storage:
- Folder names you create
- Project names you create
- Session names you create
- Tab titles and URLs from windows you choose to save
- The order and structure of your folders, projects, and sessions
This data exists solely to provide the core functionality of the extension:
saving, organizing, and restoring your browser tabs.
All workspace data is stored on your local device in Firefox/browser extension storage.
- No analytics, telemetry, accounts, cloud sync, or third-party tracking.
- Tab Workspace does not transmit your workspace data to external servers.
- Some optional UI elements (such as website favicons for saved links/tabs) may trigger direct requests to those website domains.
Required to read the titles and URLs of tabs in your current browser window when
you choose to save them. Also used to open a new window with restored tabs.
This permission is only exercised when you explicitly click "Save Current Tabs"
or "Open" on a saved session.
Required to persist your folders, projects, and saved sessions across browser
sessions using local extension storage. Data stays on your device.
You can delete any data at any time from within the extension:
- Delete individual sessions
- Delete projects (removes all sessions inside)
- Delete folders (only allowed when empty)
Uninstalling the extension will remove all extension storage associated with it
from your browser.
Tab Workspace does not use any third-party services, SDKs, analytics tools,
crash reporting, or advertising networks.
Tab Workspace does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children.
No data is collected from any user at all.
If this policy changes in a future version of the extension, the updated policy
will be included with the new release and the "Last updated" date above will be revised.
