Reviews for Tabliss - New Tab
Tabliss - New Tab by tabliss.io

Rated 4 out of 5
by Bill de Haan, 7 years agoVery nice and configurable.
After the March 26th update, however, the date/time now appear as "Invalid Date". Since there's no configuration for the date/time (other than display type), it's likely a new bug introduced in the latest build.
Other than that, it's great. Useful and informative.
2018-03-28: I ran the update function, and now "Invalid Date" has been replaced with (hold your breath here):
Invalid Date
{hour, plural, =0 {Sleep well} =1 {Sleep well} =2 {Sleep well} =3 {Rise and shine} =4 {Rise and shine} =5 {Rise and shine} =6 {Good morning} =7 {Good morning} =8 {Good morning} =9 {Good morning} =10 {Hello} =11 {Hello} =12 {Hello} =13 {Hello} =14 {Good afternoon} =15 {Good afternoon} =16 {Good afternoon} =17 {Good afternoon} =18 {Good evening} =19 {Good evening} =20 {Good evening} =21 {Good evening} =22 {Good night} =23 {Good night} }
Is there any changed permission or back end that a firewall might be affecting this?
Firefox Portable, 59.0.2 (64-bit)
2018-03-29: Hi, yes, I updated both Firefox and Tabliss before posting. Now, it's getting more interesting. As mentioned, it's a portable Firefox instance. When I run it at home, I now get the time properly. At work, I get "Invalid Date" again. That's why I'm wondering if there's some external dependency that may be being blocked.

Developer response
posted 7 years agoHi Bill, sorry about that issue. It has now been fixed! Everything should work correctly when Firefox downloads the patched version.
Edit: Did you update Tabliss? You can do this by going to Addons > Right clicking Tabliss > Clicking "Find Updates"
Edit2: There aren't any external dependencies, but the OS does provide the time through the browser. Have you manually selected a timezone or is it set to automatic? Please email me at support@tabliss.io, as this seems to be a new issue I haven't encountered yet.
