- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 15039956, 9 months agoQuotes stopped working many months ago with fixes proposed on Github but not implemented. The weather information for my area is inaccurate. That means this extension functionally only serves as a wallpaper splash screen, which is kind of pointless.

The gadgets for information and productivity are the best.
And the best of it all is that allows for CSS changes on the page. - Rated 5 out of 5by Lance Esgard, 10 months agoAt some point the Quotes Widget stopped working for me but otherwise this has been great.
If using a search box it will default to Google unless changed by selecting a different provider via Search Box settings.
It would be nice if the extension description made this clearer, as defaulting to Google has clearly been undesired by some users who have left low star ratings.
Even better, the extension would inherit the default search engine selected for Firefox, but I don't know what is involved on the programming end of things.
