- Rated 5 out of 5by Murphy's Puppet, 7 years agoA wonderful add-on to do for your tabs what GeekTool does for your desktop. It delivers an easy to use interface to embelish your new tabs and at the same time make them more useful.
At the moment of writing the extension has been stable and worked correctly on Firefox 54.
Absolutely recommended :)
EDIT: One proviso though.
If you happen to have your Firefox Preferences set to "Never Remember History", Tabliss WILL forget all your settings between sessions. If that is your behaviour then, for the moment at least, Tabliss will be not much more than a beautiful picture, the time and a basic greeting every time you open a new tab. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13504023, 7 years ago

- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 13208113, 7 years agoI have some issues with DarkSky weather. I set up lat/long manually initially, and it was showing me in US. I thought that I had problems with geography then... Allowed location access in browser... and it pulled same data as I tried to add manually. I'm not in US, I'm in UK. Not sure if it's bug in the addon or DarkSky.
Other than that, I love the addon and I learned about Unsplash as well!Developer response
posted 7 years agoHi! A few people have reporting the in-browser location is being a little wonky. I'm adding the option to search for your city (instead of long/lat coordinates) in the next version! :) - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13522403, 7 years ago

I also have some suggestions
1) Add some more settings to the widgets. For example make the time widget movable to another position (middle only looks kinda bad on some images) and it should be able to show date as well as time
2) The image should have an option to start from bellow the bookmarks bar not automatically stretch from the top of a window. Looks really bad if you have a face or something like that on your image and half of it is missing then you have to manually crop it and it's a bother.
3) I would also love an option to full-screen the image after some time of inactivity in browser something like screensaver but with all the info you've got set in the widgets
but anyways keep your good work and thank you. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13474022, 7 years agoIt's simple, convenient and nice looking. It's also the only extension I've found that can actually affect my new tab page.
