I suggest two releases, one that overrides the homepage and one that does not, if that is possible. Otherwise I love this add on and await any further development that allows me to use it without overriding my homepage.

If a private window is opened, the extension loses its settings...

Hi! Unfortunately that is a bug in Firefox itself, and there is no suitable workaround I can use. For some good news though, there is a fix coming in Firefox 59 for it!

It is perfect except it doesn't focus on "type to search". Require you to click on it first.

Hi! Sorry this is a Firefox restriction on web extensions. If this restriction is ever removed in the future, I'll add it in as a option :)
