About this extension
Lock any tab, a whole site, or every open tab, behind one password.
Features:
- Lock this page, this site, or every tab, from the popup or the right-click menu
- Auto-lock list covering Facebook, Instagram, X/Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, Reddit and more, plus your own domains. Subdomains and all paths are included
- Media hosts: a blocked site's video and image CDN is blocked too, and stays blocked even when you unlock the main site
- Quiet hours: during a window you choose, the password will not open blocked sites
- Unlock scope: keep a scrolling feed open, or open only that one page
- Inactivity re-lock, configurable, and media-aware: video that is already playing is never cut off
- One password for tabs and settings, with a recovery key shown once
- Local history of how long a blocked site stayed open, stored on this device only
- Export and import your settings as JSON
100% local: your password is stored only as a PBKDF2-SHA-256 hash. No accounts, no servers, no analytics. Nothing is ever transmitted.
Limitations (by Firefox design): system pages such as about:addons cannot be locked, and disabling or removing the extension is not preventable.
