Tabook does not collect any personal data or track the user's browsing behaviour.

The user's bookmarks are processed solely within the browser and are not transmitted to the Tabook servers or any other service. To ensure and improve the quality of the extension, critical errors are reported to the Tabook servers. The information sent in this process does not contain any personal data.

External Services

Tabook does:

• display background images from Unsplash. In accordance with the Unsplash's API guidelines, the attribution of the image is shown in the bottom-left corner. Since the Unsplash API key must remain confidential, the Unsplash API is accessed via a proxy server hosted on Google Cloud Run. No personal data is shared in this process.
• displays favicons for the user’s bookmarks using DuckDuckGo. DuckDuckGo ensures that no tracking occurs through these requests.

Tabook is not responsible for the content that the user embeds on his New tab page.
