posted 7 years agoHello Blea, I looked hard into implementing a settings page that would allow you to customize the shortcuts to whatever you like however as of today (57.0.1) this NOT SUPPORTED by Firefox, as confirmed here:
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1303384
for the moment I think what you could do is unpack the extension and edit the manifest.json to specify your own preferred shortcut and then "sideload" it from about:debugging.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Juanka Hula, 7 years agoThe addon looks good so far. Could you try adding more of the functionalities in the "links" and "events" tabs of TMP? Is possible to protect and or lock tabs for a webextension addon? If so could you try implementing it? If it's not possible like before in the sense that you cannot protect the tab for being closed maybe you could make it so the addon re opens the tab that was closed and sends it to the place the original tab was and again "protects" this clone tab and do something similar if the url of the current tab is changed (go back to the original url).
BTW are you the forgetful frank of the wordpress blog?Developer response
posted 7 years agoThanks Juanka, I will look into it, I guess I will have to re-install TMP to check what it was doing. I will check what i can do for tab protection, i did not create add-ons with the previous technology but it would seem that the webextension framework limits possibilities in comparison, especially when it comes to UI.
Nope, not the same frank :) - Rated 1 out of 5by azraelle, 7 years agoIt does pretty much nothing compared to tabmix plus. Calling it 'tab management' is a huge exaggeration.
>What do you miss most from TabMix Plus?
Lets see:
-single window mode(but i can live without it)
-specific tab opening order which tabmix plus provides
-duplicating tabs next to original
-extended closed tab history
-tabs customization(font styles, width)
-mouse settings(e.g. double clicking tab duplicates it, double clicking empty space on the tabbar opens a new tab, alt/ctrl/shift+ click actions)
-customize firefox hotkeys
-session managerDeveloper response
posted 7 years agoHello Azraelle, how should i call it? In all fairness I did mention it was a "small extension". What do you miss most from TabMix Plus? My plan is to extend it further and also opensource it, so contributions will be welcome.
