About this extension
Talos Web Clipper is the browser companion to Talos, the intelligence
platform from Knightsbridge Research. It sends what you are reading to
your Talos account, filed in the project you choose, with a link back to
the page it came from.
What you can capture
Attach a capture to people or groups you already track, add a note, and
pick the project it belongs to. The popup remembers your recent choices.
Private by design
You need a Talos account. The extension does nothing without one: after
installing, open Options, enter your Talos address and an API token from
Settings → API Tokens, and choose the account to capture into.

What you can capture
- An article's text, or just the passage you selected
- A screenshot of the visible area, the whole page, or an area you draw
- The page's description, sharing metadata and visible links
- The details on a supported profile page, offered as suggestions to
review in Talos rather than written straight into a record - Selections tagged as you read, with "Capture as…" in the right-click menu
- A social media post or app store review, sent into one of your account's
monitors with a screenshot and a copy of the page as evidence

Private by design
- The extension reads a page only when you click its button or use its
menu. It has no standing access to the sites you visit and runs nothing
on pages you do not click on. - Captures go to one place: the Talos server you connect it to, using a
personal API token you create in Talos. No analytics, no advertising, no
third parties. - Your token stays in this browser's extension storage and is never synced.
Disconnect in Options removes it; revoking the token in Talos
(Settings → API Tokens) stops the extension everywhere at once.
You need a Talos account. The extension does nothing without one: after
installing, open Options, enter your Talos address and an API token from
Settings → API Tokens, and choose the account to capture into.
