- Rated 5 out of 5by mplserin, 18 days agoThank you, dev for developing this extension - it's a 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲𝘀𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗿! So many times I've accidentally deleted or lost writing in a textbox. i.e. refresh the page, select all > cut, close Firefox, tap Back, close the tab, delete cookies & lose the cache (and of course, I forgot to submit a 500-word piece in 1 of 49 tabs D'oh!)🤦♀️😊
This extension solves ALL of these problems! It is user friendly, Open Source, requires only permissions necessary for core functionality (SAFE), and
My 𝐭𝐨𝐩 𝟒 Firefox extensions: NoScript, uBlock Origin, FoxyProxy & 𝗧𝗲𝘅𝘁𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗮 𝗖𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲!
**Whoops I did it again**
As I was writing this review I lost 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 above when I highlighted all text and hit ←Backspace by accident when I got up to let my dog out. D'oh! 🤦♀️
Good thing I installed Textarea Cache! I can get it back in 5sec! Here how: Tap the 3 dots next to the number of tabs open > in the pop-up menu, tap Extensions > tap "View your saved data" > look for the entry with your text > copy text > paste into textbox.
EASY to use • HIGHLY RECOMMENDED • 5 STARS

I swear, wildskyf & gholk, you have prevented an unknowable number of psychotic breaks, hostage situations, and general mêlée in darkened workspaces worldwide.
Not that **I ever contemplated just going utterly berserk** and throwing anything without capacity to run in an effort at self-preservation through the non-operable square portholes on RL...
By disallowing this sanity-saving gift, Chrome development can’t follow best practices for workforce mental health, possibly even world peace.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Henning, 10 months agoWorks fine for me (Win7, FF 115.16.1esr (64-Bit)). Saved entries can bee seen and copied, deleted (automatically after a period), and exported as file.

- Rated 5 out of 5by 4EverMaAT, 2 years agoSaved my bacon on several occasions. As sometimes you submit a form after typing a long essay and then some error occurs or the page "expired" or some other non-sense and you must start all over. Important: you must limit the amount of days to save....so that the database doesn't get to large and crash. I recommend 6 months maximum (181 days). Author should have a default of 1-3 months.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 16321275, 4 years agoI have not relied on this much but it has saved my butt a few times and I avoided retyping everything in a text box. There have been a few places where it did not save the text but it seems to work most places. Also, as one previous 3 star review pointed out, the copied recovered text often includes a bunch of html code which is annoying. It's still better than retyping a long entry and you can delete the coding or I think you can highlight and copy the recovered text rather than using the "copy" button to avoid this problem.

- Rated 5 out of 5by XerraX, 5 years agoA 'must have' addon. Works really well and saves users from a lot of annoyances due to accidental page reloads caused by pressing F5, backspace, mouse's forward/back buttons, esc, page reload clicks, auto-refreshings, page or system, electricity cut-outs, and other unfortunate happenings.
