This extension communicates with GitHub to display task progress only on main issues page (github.com/<user>/<repository>/issues). GitHub will receive your Personal Access Token if you provide one. The authentication is done directly between the extension and GitHub, no third party server is involved. There's no advertising and no analytics. Once installed, GitHub may be able to detect it.
