by Firefox user 13181669, 7 years agoI know that WE is limiting and that's a bit sad on such a plugin. I prefer the non WE one because it actually tile tabs, not windows.

posted 7 years agoTile Tabs WE has the same basic objective as the original Tile Tabs, which is to display multiple web pages in a tiled layout.
Tile Tabs WE works differently to the original Tile Tabs, because using the WebExtensions API's, it is not possible to display multiple pages simultaneously within the same browser window.
It is hoped that it will soon be possible to release a new add-on, which will be similar to the original Tile Tabs, with all of the pages in the layout tiled within the same window. There is already a working prototype of this add-on, but it cannot be released until Mozilla make some changes to the core code of Firefox.
