This is an almost indescribably useful tool once you get up and running with it. Having experienced this extension for awhile now, I can say beyond a shadow of doubt that this is the best idea since--- anyway!
All of the features are as described, and work very well. Formerly I'd used different browsers for different things. Since the loading and unloading sets of bookmarked tabs prior to this involved more effort than just gearing browsers to a use. Now? I'm practically ready to give this guy a medal!
Everything becomes so easy to organize, and using the automatic unloading and loading means that unlike the feature in Edge which slides tabs into a side 'pocket' which doesn't. Sliding them over in Edge just moves them out of your view. It does decrease the load from those tabs, but it's still bloating with data.
So yes. This doesn't. This is good. You want good? You want this. Do it. Why are you even still reading this review? DOWNLOAD IT.

Wow. Just wow...
Okay, if you're reading this that means you still haven't tried this extension. Why? This is everything they advertise and works in a manner that's veritably even better than advertised.
Well actually let me make this clear, ( even to chzesa the saint who brought us this! ) This kind of an innovation is in my opinion about as ground-breaking as when the first browser offered the ability to open tabs.
The way you can organize tabs into tree's to stay organized into a tree format. Group them together to sort even more diversely. Then on top of all of that, you can also create entire tab sets! I have a tab setup for almost every activity now. It has dramatically increased my productivity.
Those tab-group set-ups once stashed away no longer consume system resources unlike other browsers that allow you to stash them out of view. The problem is that it still consumes system resources in those little stash areas. Not with this solution. In fact, you can tie this extension with many combinations of others to make this extension more versatile.
This extension is so awesome that I have come back to edit my initial review. That says a lot about the extension. I gave it a 5 / 5 originally, and wrote an extensive review. I came back to make even more praise for this extension.
DOWNLOAD NOW! :) Please.

- Rated 2 out of 5by Jim Moss, 4 months agoThere is no information on how to make this extension work, I've tried twice, searched all of the net and giving up.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Edzio, 5 months agoThis is one of my favorite add-on for firefox. Simple to use for users who keep 100+ tabs open like me. :P
Hope to see New features added to Tiled Tab Groups in the future!! - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 17457274, 8 months agoI'd prefer if the tab groups could be visible on the tab bar itself, but after a small amount of testing, it seems pretty easy to use and hasn't lost my tabs on close or restart. I'll just need to get used to hitting F2 to check in on my other tabs/remember they exist
- Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 17211602, a year agoWhy does every extension can't group inside the current window ? Edge, by default, supports that...

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 15436998, 2 years agoReally amazing! I've used it for a couple of months now and it's worked great. As someone who is always working on multiple projects at the same time, this is a fast and ieasy way to manage all of my tabs. Highly recommended!
- Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 17922729, 2 years agoWorked fine for a year or so. I was quite relying on it, let open all the tabs I was reading for my thesis, and then suddenly, nothing: all groups, tabs, and recently closed tabs have disappeared. Even my pinned tabs, which should have no link with this extension.
Be carefull not to rely to much on this extension ! - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 14436631, 2 years agoNot so good. It works fine, until all tabs and groups disappear. This happened to me twice, basta, I uninstall and only one star. Avoid if you REALLY care about your open tabs...
- Rated 1 out of 5by Bekohanfula, 2 years ago0.18.25 . Not functional. Shows a single group, not what is in it. No button to add another group.
- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 12111865, 2 years agoGreat, but i would like to customise the F2 button for configurating tabs, because i use it in cloud storages to rename files.
- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 12931847, 2 years agoUseful as a lightweight alternative to extension "Toby for tabs"
- Rated 5 out of 5by Husenberg, 2 years agoThis is exactly what I was looking for. After checking so many other bloated add-ons, that were "recommended" this was just the right thing, with minimal permissions and feature bloat. And it retains everything on browser restart.
If I was to request 1 feature it's would be an option for multiple windows using the same groups, but that doesn't seem to be doable with how Firefox handles tabs. - Rated 5 out of 5by Joseto58, 2 years agoCreated an Add-ons account just to give this one 5 stars.
Superb extension, have been using it for a while now and it has become essential to my browser workflow.
Thank you so much for this tool; once you get used to it, it is extremely user-friendly and reliable. Cheers!
Edit: I'm dropping by to give some feedback now that I've used this add-on for a long time. First, I'd love to have some documentation into how to use the visual CSS customization, I haven't found any.
Secondly, I'd love to have an option to hide unloaded tabs from a tab group (For example, my music tab group, i have a lot of playlists and genres for different moods, and unloaded tabs really clutter my view), I imagine this could be possible with the tab hide api.
Once again, i applaud this add-on for making the user experience of firefox phenomenal, I'm honestly proud to show off my browser hahaha. Thank you very much chzesa! - Rated 5 out of 5by JohnnyFrust, 2 years agoWant to simply select some tabs and move them to a group? This is the extension. Most other add-ons require you to group all your tabs with a cumbersome setup before they're usable.

- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 13524382, 3 years agoThis is a great extension, it reminds me a lot of Trello, very nice UI and so far has been very stable.
There are a few things I'd like to see improved:
1. Needs a feature to export / import tab tiles for safe keeping / backup.
2. Would be useful to have an option that would highlight duplicate tabs, it's easier than ever to have the same tab open in several groups, so having this feature would be pretty useful. - Rated 5 out of 5by Sans Undertale, 3 years agoEasily the best Tab Grouping extension. STG comes close, but it's also sluggish and heavy on weaker computers, whereas TTG is quick and painless everywhere.
