About this extension
Tiles New Tab replaces the new tab page with a fast, clean speed-dial.
  • Site tiles with icons: drag to reorder, edit, delete
  • Folders: drop a tile on another tile to make a folder, drag tiles out again
  • Clock and date, 12/24-hour format
  • Optional weather (Open-Meteo, no API key), only after you allow it
  • Your own background image: size, position, repeat, opacity, dimming, blur, or a built-in default
  • Light/dark settings panel, compact layout, grid size and tile colours
  • Interface in English, Russian and Chinese
  • Press "/" to focus the search box

Privacy: everything is stored locally. Nothing is sent to the author. Weather is optional and asks for permission first. Open source (MIT).
