About this extension
Tinlark Tables copies a table or list from the web page you are viewing into Excel, Google Sheets or Numbers, or saves it as a CSV file.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Open the popup on a page (toolbar button, or Alt+Shift+T).
2. It lists the tables it found. Or choose "Pick a table" and click any table or list on the page.
3. Check the preview, then choose "Copy for Excel" or "Download CSV".
FREE: NO ACCOUNT, NO ROW LIMIT
- Finds HTML tables, ARIA tables and grids, CSS grid and flex "div tables", and repeated card lists, without site-specific code.
- Cleans while exporting: merged cells (repeat the value or leave blank), multi-row headers (joined with " / "), hidden rows and columns skipped, whitespace trimmed, empty columns dropped, optional column of link URLs, row range.
- Number and date preview: shows before and after for currency, percent, thousands separators, European decimals (1.234,56) and ISO or local dates such as 05.03.2024. Each column can be switched off. Text such as 00123 is never turned into a number.
- Cells that a spreadsheet would run as formulas (starting with = or @) get a leading apostrophe. You can switch this off in settings.
- Copy for Excel (tab-separated text) and Download CSV (UTF-8, optional byte order mark, comma, semicolon or tab delimiter).
- Keyboard accessible, light and dark theme, settings page.
PRO (OPTIONAL, PAID, ON SALE FROM 1 NOVEMBER 2026)
Pro is not on sale yet. It can be bought from 1 November 2026; until then the extension is the free core described above. Pro will cost $19 per year or $4 per month, with a 7-day trial. Tinlark sells it through Polar, which is the merchant of record. Polar emails you a licence key that you paste on the settings page. Activating it sends the key to Polar to check it (see Privacy). A key works in up to 3 browsers. Pro adds:
- Excel .xlsx with typed columns (numbers, currency, percent and date cells), a bold frozen header row with a filter, and automatic column widths.
- Several tables in one workbook, one sheet per table.
- JSON, Markdown, HTML and SQL INSERT output.
- A column picker: hide, rename and reorder columns.
- Saved recipes per site, stored on your device, with export and import as a file.
- "Scroll to load all rows" and "Press the page's Next button" for lists that load more rows as you scroll or page.
Everything listed under "Free" stays free. Nothing has moved or will move behind Pro. Without a licence key the extension makes no network requests at all.
PRIVACY
Tables are read from the page you open the popup on and processed in the popup. Table contents and the addresses of the pages you visit are never sent anywhere. There are no accounts and no analytics. Settings, saved recipes and the licence record stay in the browser's extension storage on your device. The only network request the extension can make is the Pro licence check to api.polar.sh. It is made only for Pro users, only after you enter a licence key, and Firefox asks for your consent to share the key when you activate Pro. It contains the key, an activation id, a browser label such as Firefox-1a2b3c4d and Tinlark's public organisation id. Privacy policy: https://gettinlark.com/privacy/
LIMITS
- It reads the top frame of a page only, not tables inside iframes.
- In the free version, lists that load rows as you scroll export the rows that are loaded. The popup tells you when the page reports more rows than are loaded.
- PDFs, pictures of tables and grids drawn on a canvas are not tables in the page and are not detected.
