It works as a quick right click menu item to open Google translate, but I want an extension so I don't HAVE to open Google translate. I'd rather just the page translate in place, or I can translate selected text quickly without opening a separate tab.

Bom, mas pode melhorar: o tradutor não pode ser fixado à barra, e isso é ruim! Quando solicitado para traduzir a página inteira, ele abre uma nova guia, e isso é ruim (alguns sites ele pergunta se deseja tradução logo ao abrir, nesses casos não é aberta nova guia) Plugin muito bom, tradução muito boa, mas ainda peca na usabilidade.

Pretty good and easy if u use it for copy-paste, but had pb translating whole page, it duplicates it in new tab and translates, but just the text, layout changes, was hard to read.

Firefox released their own addon for translation this year. Maybe someday it will replace this one but currently To Google Translate supports more languages and is more seamless to use. This is why it has a higher rating and far more users. I would like to congratulate the author on 1M downloads.
