    Version 1.2.1

    Released Aug 15, 2026 - 25.02 KB
Works with firefox 109.0a1 and later
    Bug fixes
    - Fixed social media hosters (YouTube, Twitch, SoundCloud, etc.) being active by default on fresh installations prior to saving the Manage Hosters dashboard. Default social media domains are now populated into storage immediately on install and background startup.
    - Fixed NZB download interception failing on authenticated private indexers by fetching the binary NZB blob and uploading via multipart/form-data rather than passing plain URL strings.
    - Fixed startup race condition where content scripts could receive an empty hoster list during background script initialization.
    - Refined navigation in the Manage Hosters dashboard to cleanly handle tab closure when opened from the popup.

    Manifest & Modernization
    - Upgraded extension manifest to Manifest V3 with separated host permissions and background service worker declaration.

    Version 1.2.0

    Released Aug 12, 2026 - 24.11 KB
Works with firefox 58.0 and later
    Bug fixes
Fixed an issue where intercepted .torrent download URLs were being passed as raw magnet link strings to the TorBox API. The background script now fetches the torrent binary blob and uploads it via multipart/form-data.
Fixed an issue where the extension popup failed to load user settings because it listened for DOMContentLoaded after the document had already finished loading. Settings are now initialized directly when popup.js runs.
Fixed website quick-add redirection using magnet query parameters for all link types. Redirect URLs now dynamically use magnet for torrents, nzb for NZBs, and link for web downloads.
Fixed offline token validation displaying false warning banners on save when network requests fail. The extension now distinguishes network failures from authentication errors.
Fixed TLD parsing in the Manage Hosters dashboard so multi-part domain extensions (such as .co.uk) resolve to their correct brand name.
Cleaned up dead code by removing unused notification handles in background.js and redundant inner exclusion checks in content.js.

    New features
Replaced 5-minute background polling in content scripts with reactive storage.onChanged listeners. Settings and hoster changes take effect instantly across all open tabs without background message clutter.
Added on-screen toast notification feedback when clicking intercepted links while extension settings are still initializing.
Refined extension permissions by replacing <all_urls> with explicit http:/// and https:/// host permissions in manifest.json.

  • Version 1.1.0

    Released Aug 8, 2026 - 22.04 KB
Works with firefox 58.0 and later
    Bug fixes
Fixed an issue where links on sites like TikTok were being intercepted and sent as torrent downloads even when the "Intercept Supported Hosters" setting was disabled. The extension was reading a hardcoded default (true) before user settings had loaded from storage, causing the setting to be ignored on fast clicks after page load.
Fixed the right-click context menu ("Send to TorBox") bypassing the hoster toggle entirely. Right-clicking any link and choosing "Send to TorBox" would attempt a web download regardless of whether hoster interception was enabled.
Added tiktok.com to the default excluded domains list.

    New features
Added a "Manage Hosters" page accessible from the popup footer. It shows the full list of supported hosters fetched from the TorBox API, with per-hoster checkboxes, a filter field, and Select All / Deselect All buttons.
Social media platforms (YouTube, TikTok, Twitter/X, Instagram, Facebook, Reddit, Twitch, and others) are disabled by default in the hoster list. Users can re-enable them at any time.
The hoster list now reflects user selections in real time. Disabled hosters are excluded from link interception without needing to restart the browser.
