TWP - Translate Web Pages by Filipe Dev

by Tildryn, 3 years agoThis add-on is fantastic. I've been looking for ages for one that does in-page translation (instead of sending me to translate.google.com, which then doesn't work for pages you have to log into...) and have only now found this gem. Head and shoulders above any other translation add-on.

- Rated 3 out of 5by Shogun, a month agoGoogle translate works well here but there are simpler extensions for that. Google's translations are average. I couldn't get Bing to work here. Yandex works but is worse than other options. Using DeepL just opens a new tab and pushes your text over to the new tab which I can do myself with copy paste. DeepL won't let you translate a whole webpage for free, only text snippets. DeepL is poor at names, idioms, titles, and short bits of text but really good at longer form texts.
This is a nice extension with good customization hindered by poor translation tools. For my purposes its better just to use something simpler. - Rated 5 out of 5by GHOZRAEL, a month ago
