Don't know how to do without it

- Rated 5 out of 5by Adam Victor Brandizzi, 7 years agoI grudgingly migrated to Tree Style Tab after the tab groups extension became incompatible. Now I cannot live without Tree Style Tab! It makes everything way easier to see and manage. It helps closing old tabs and finding the one I want. This is one of my favorite extensions ever.

I am missing the feature to hide tabs automatically or at least using some shortcut for example F4. - Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 13516994, 7 years agoThis was great add on but for some reason I can't hide the tabs as I was able to in previous version of Firefox, so not too how long I'd put up with seeing tabs at the top and on the side. I think Firefox need to do something about hide the top taps too. But will carry on using the add on and hopefully the updates will resolve it.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13346228, 7 years agoSome people have a strange way of thanking Piro for updating the addon in time for Quantum and allowing users a transition as smooth as possible. He even found the time to document all the things that just aren't possible yet with the new webextension API, like hiding the original tab bar. With a quick look at the extension's github pages you also find solutions for that (hint: you have to place some lines in userChrome.css as this is the only way Firefox left to modify the GUI). I'm sure Piro will re-add all these missing features as soon as Firefox development will allow it.
So, from my point of view: this extension is still great and really adding value to the browser. I can live with some glitches and missing features as long as I don't have to cope with the standard tab bar. Instead of whining about things missing, what about contributing some userChrome.css snippets to relevant issues in the bug tracker (you people did report problems there before leaving one-star reviews here, did you?) so that others can participate?
BTW: Is it just me or doesn't a donate button exist? I would love to spare a few dimes for motivation. - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 13514077, 7 years agoSeems to be a reasonable substitute for the XUL-version. An absolutely essental addon for firefox!
But I like to report a bug. When I click on a tab and drag it to another window, the tab disappears from the source window (as expected), but does not reappear in the destination window. First you believe that it has been erased, but turning off the sidebar by clicking the show menu, and the turning it on again makes the moved tab magically reappear.
I hope you can fix this soon, since it is very confusing.. - Rated 4 out of 5by Faculty Row Spam, 7 years agoTree style add-on really works for me to reduce the hanging of the browser when opened so many links and also tabs can be shown in front. Thanks..

Thanks Prio for redoing the Addon for the new API!
@everyone who is complaining about the lost features:
seriously, it's not the addon dev's fault they changed the addon API. stop giving bad reviews! - Rated 5 out of 5by 宋祥忠, 7 years ago

- Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 13507892, 7 years agoFirefox 57 has completely ruined this add-on. Highly unfortunate as I read online to see if there would be any issues before updating and it didn't look like it would be a problem.

1) Can we get an option to have «Additional Context Menu Items» not in submenu, but in main context menu just separated by separator?
2) Can we have options to disable «standard» menu items. Like I do not need «Reload All Tabs» and all other in this section.
3) Is translation possible for this menu? - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13070096, 7 years agoThe previous version of the side tabs could be narrowed or widened at my discretion. This new version does not allow that. The previous version removed the tab bar above the address bar, thus freeing up vertical display space. This newer version does not do that. Why the regression of capabilities? I have removed the addon until such time as an updated and more capable one is provided.
