1. TunnelBear does require a cookie to be used on the device in order to recall login status/information. If you clear your cookies, you will be required to sign back in to the application. We are aware of concerns surrounding this, but there are no immediate plans to change this implementation at this time. This is intended behaviour for the app currently.
2. The other two issues definitely don't sound right at all. The extension should be working with private browsing mode, and it definitely should not be displaying your personal/original IP, you should only see the TunnelBear IP address while connected. Note however, the extension only affects the browser it is installed on, not all applications on the device. If you are seeing the IP in another browser/app, then that would be expected.
In any case, for those problems, please contact support at https://help.tunnelbear.com/hc/en-us so that our support bears can try to solve those issues for you! We'll be happy to help troubleshoot there :)

- Rated 1 out of 5by Rich, 9 days agoSo nice to move split bear into premium. Hardly used any bandwidth as I only needed vpn for a couple of apps. Now I use up the bandwidth within a day on sites/apps I didn't need protected. Uninstall time I guess. Bummer as you always gave good fast service.
