TurboGST browser extension privacy notice

This notice covers the TurboGST: GST Portal Upload Helper extension.

The extension handles a JSON file only when you choose it in its popup or click Send to GST portal on TurboGST.in. The file can contain tax-return information. It is used solely to place that file in the GST portal's upload input.

One queued file, its file name and queue time are stored in your browser. Session storage is used where supported; otherwise browser local storage is used. The queued copy is removed after the extension successfully fills the upload input, or when you use Remove or Dismiss. The original file on your device is not deleted.

The extension makes no network requests of its own and does not send the file to TurboGST servers, analytics services or advertisers. It places the file into the GST portal page in your browser. The portal processes the file under its own policies when you upload it or otherwise interact with that page.

The extension does not read portal returns, ledgers, profiles, passwords, OTPs or digital signatures. It does not collect browsing history or analytics, sell data, or run remotely supplied code.

Permissions are limited to browser storage and access to TurboGST and GST portal pages needed for this file-transfer function. The extension does not click Upload, Submit or File. You review the file and perform those actions yourself.
