However, a few major issues and suggestions:
1. There's no way to remove highlighting from a tweet (eg. after have read it or if accidentally clicked it)
2. Highlighting isn't synced across different contexts - if highlight on user profile page, it won't show up highlighted from search page or your own timeline or own RTs or own Likes page.
3. Highlighting doesn't show up when click on tweet to focus/expand it unless click on the tweet actions arrow at top right.
4. It may be helpful to add option to auto-unhighlight tweet once its been read (eg. you click to go to the status/... page for it) or interacted with (RT or like). However, I would still prefer to just manually unhighlight instead, so should be optional.
5. Add a Highlighted Tweets expandable panel to sidebar (or button to down popover overlay dialog) to show list of ALL highlighted tweets
