Twinprice - Currency Converter for Every Page by Krlo

See what a foreign price costs in your own money, right beside the original.

Open a shop that uses another currency and Twinprice finds the prices, offers to convert them, and shows you the rate before you accept. Each converted value appears next to the original, so you always see what the shop actually charges.

Works in Firefox on Windows, macOS and Linux, and in Firefox for Android.

What you can convert

• Every price on a page, in one click
• One price you highlight, with the button that appears beside it or the right-click menu on desktop
• Any amount you type into the toolbar popup

Currencies

• Over 160 currencies to convert into, searchable by code or name
• 50 currencies detected automatically from the page
• Correct formats, including yen with no decimals and dinar with three

Made for real shops

• Handles tricky price layouts, with fixes for shops such as Allegro, Digitec, Trendyol and tap.az
• Picks up prices that load later on modern shop pages
• Converts automatically on the shops you choose, and only there
• Undo puts the page back exactly as it was
• Keyboard shortcut on desktop: Ctrl+Shift+Y (Command+Shift+Y on Mac)
• Interface in ten languages: English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Dutch, Polish, Brazilian Portuguese, Turkish and Ukrainian

Why Firefox asks for access to all websites and lists website content

A price can be on any shop, so Twinprice has to read the pages you open to notice one. It reads them only on your device. Page content, prices and the sites you visit never leave your browser. The only thing sent anywhere is a three-letter currency code such as EUR, to fetch that day's reference rate. No ads, no analytics, no tracking.

About the rates

Reference rates come from Frankfurter, which publishes European Central Bank rates every working day. They are for comparing prices. They are not the rate your bank or card will charge, and they don't include fees.

Limits

Prices inside images and some embedded frames can't be converted. On unusual layouts you may need to choose the source currency yourself.

Free and open source
