- Rated 5 out of 5by Zacharie, 4 years agoTwitch showing splash screens because apparently Jeff Bezos is going broke and really needs the ad revenue from Twitch Affiliates who don't even get a piece of the ad money anyway. Nothing like modding a channel that gets interrupted every ten minutes because twitch wants to have a QQ fest about using ad and tracker blockers.
also confirming to get addon to work again, all you need to do is remove the add on and re-add it. - Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 12809733, 4 years agoCould use a way to only replace the player, not the whole tab's content.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 16541025, 4 years agoVery good extension for weak computers and laptops. I have performance issues on default twitch player but with this all works fine.

(better than nothing but still letting some through) - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 16530986, 4 years ago
- Rated 4 out of 5by None, 4 years agovery nice addon, way less cpu usage & ram when watching a stream ( twitch use WAY too much ) one little thing, it seems like a message "hiding ads" for 15sec made his appearance, and it totaly stop the stream, which is a bit annoying. ( ok for now its unusable saddly as its like stop every 10min for that "hiding ads" thing, no idea what is happening or the reason )

- Rated 5 out of 5by Ghost, 4 years agoWorks great. Only problem is it doesn't join raids. Also a new development that twitch must have released in the past few days. Some streamer channels don't load with the addon and when you manually start the addon, it says The stream has ended. They are live at the time. Update: It's a new DMCA setting that streamers need to enable to stream Amazon Prime videos. So, I don't expect this to get fixed.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 14054127, 4 years agoThe addon works nicely again! When tuning into a stream with ads, it says "Hiding ads" for 15 seconds. But instead of waiting 15 secs I can press [pause] and then [play] again so the stream starts without ads or long waiting time.
edit: I haven't seen a single ad or "hiding ad" since yesterday, I believe. Maybe they're gone completely now?
edit 2: Yes, they are! That's even better. Thanks, great job! - Rated 5 out of 5by eric, 4 years ago
- Rated 5 out of 5by Papey Randall, 4 years agoAfter so many years, they still find a way to beat the twitch algorithm and provide us with an add-free experience. Thank you.
- Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 16459993, 4 years agoit was good for 2 weeks, and then now the ads aren't blocked. Ads are back again
- Rated 5 out of 5by neooffs, 4 years agoHow do I use the external player functionality?
I use it to boost the volume. I wonder if the extension can do that aswell.
Also, what about supporting 100% transparency instead of 80% max?
Thanks. - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 16450927, 4 years ago
