Following Cleaner for Twitter/X by Liam

My Twitter following list had built up over the years with old interests, inactive accounts and people I didn't even remember following. Clicking through them one by one to clean it up felt tedius, so I made this extension. It turns your following list into a Tinder-style swipe deck. See each account's profile picture, name, and bio, then swipe right to keep or left to unfollow. A quick, visual way to clean up your feed without the hassle.

To get started, navigate to your following page on Twitter, click the extension icon, and press Start Scanning. The extension will automatically scroll through your list and collect your accounts (don't worry, this data is never saved and doesn't leave your device). Once scanning is complete, the swipe interface appears automatically. Review your accounts one by one, then check your choices in the results view before committing to any unfollows.

Privacy: This extension collects zero data. Everything runs locally in your browser tab. There are no external requests, no analytics, no tracking. Your following list never leaves your machine. The code is also available on GitHub

This extension works by reading what's visible on the page, rather than connecting to X's servers directly. This means if X ever changes how their Following page looks, the extension may need an update to keep working.
